About the Steel Structure Committee

Committee Overview

■Committee Objectives
The purpose of this committee is to contribute to academic and technological progress by conducting research and investigations on steel materials and steel structures in the field of civil engineering, and by collaborating with other associations on research.

■Committee Business
In order to achieve its objectives, the Committee will establish subcommittees as necessary to conduct research and studies, and will also hold lectures and symposiums and present research results as needed. It will also promote exchanges with related academic societies both in Japan and overseas.
